The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the town center but still quiet at night. The amenities were fantastic, especially the multiple bathrooms. I had the most amazing stay at this property in Keswick. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the center of town and the beautiful Derwent Lake. The house itself was tastefully decorated and spotless throughout. The kitchen had all the utensils and appliances we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The owners of the property were so generous, providing treats for both us and our dog. The communication with Jan was excellent, and check-in was a breeze. I can't wait to return to this gem of a property in Keswick.
Parking was sometimes difficult, but it wouldn't stop me from returning to Dovedale. The house also didn't have a yard or garden at the rear, but it wasn't a big issue for me as I enjoyed taking early morning strolls around Keswick.

Stayed at a beautiful house just minutes away from the centre. The kitchen was well-equipped, bathrooms were modern, and the beds were large and comfortable. The owners were generous with welcome pack and extra towels. The house had a cozy and luxurious feel with wood burning stoves and smart TVs in every room. Located on a quiet street, yet close to cafes, shops, and the lake. Definitely a great, clean, and beautiful place to stay.

The property was beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard, making it a comfortable and pleasant stay. The location was ideal, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and parks. Plus, it was a short walk to a nearby lake, perfect for enjoying some outdoor time. The beds were big and cozy, and the entire place was spotless. Another bonus was the well-equipped kitchen, complete with all the utensils and appliances needed.
There were a few aspects that I didn't particularly enjoy. The fire protection within the property seemed excessive and gave me a slight sense of unease.
